Recently I got married (yay). I ordered a large box of crayons for all the kids to use on blank white place-mats. Well, the kids barely put a dent in the box and I ended up being left with this:

What on gods green earth am I going to do with like 150 yellow, red, and blue crayons!?
Well, I took to the internet and found some awesome ideas!
1. Obviously melted crayon art is a big one, but how creative can you get with 3 colors.
2. Breaking them up and using molds to make shaped and cooler crayons! What an awesome idea! (soak the crayons to get the paper off easier)
Check out Amazon for cool molds
3. Donating it to a local preschool
4. Donating to a local woman's shelter
5. Making lip-gloss with melted crayon and coconut oil
6. Soak them to take the paper off and put them inside a glue gun to make art. Do on a card stock piece of paper or a canvas.
7. Use them to make candles

8. Put melted wax into clear tree ornaments and swirl them around
9. Crayon playdough
crayons, chopped into pieces
vegetable oil
flour
salt
cream of tartar
water
(cook all the ingredients on the stove in a pot KEEP mixing)
10. Donating them to a charity- This man takes old restaurant crayons and makes the into new crayons and sends them to children's hospitals
11. Drip melted wax onto a white pumpkin
So, What did I end up doing with my crayons? I donated the to my sons preschool classroom. I hope he draws me something nice!
